What installation guide! I also do not have a place on my unit with a 4 pin connector to go to the maestro.

Maybe if you disclosed it needs to be flashed before they purchase it, mine is on the way back!

Are the Maestro T-Harness to Radio Adapters still
available to simplify so I don't have to do all the crimping, etc?

If the radio is iDatalink compatible, is that 4 pin wire 2:21 the only connection you need or do you still have to use all the other harnesses and splice wires?

Thank you for the video! I have a 2015 F150 4.3 inch screen. Do I need the Metra 40 EU10? What exactly is to gain by using it? Thank you again!

I admire your hard work in putting these videos together. Mekebe M6 Pro Plus 8 + 128 for a Hyundai Sonata or YF 2013. The 9.5 Host Device DOESN'T have the proper LOOM and CANBUS to my car, that I can tell. I have MYFIRSTECH IDATALUNK MAESTRO THR-HK5 with the COMPUSTAR DC3 MODULE and an X1 MAX DRONE. They're supposed to talk to the onboard computer or the Obd2, which allows the steering wheel and AC controllers, and everything else in the car to unlock the doors roll down and up windows, and all kinds of other stuff. In theory, do you think this can bypass the standard loom and CANBUS? The big name brands like Kenwood Pioneer Sony use these. The big question would an image show up on this 2k head unit? Unrelated question can Dash cameras display a image on an Android screen? Or will only ADAS DVR cameras display an image on the android screen?

Does the f150 wiring harness work on all aftermarket radios or those just specific to mastros compatible radios

Just got the Sony AX6000 installed. When I look up my truck for the maestro it only gives me 1 option and it’s for the steering wheel controls. Is this because that is all that is available for my vehicle? It is 2013 Toyota Tundra thank u Crutch!!!!

Hello! I have a quick question. Can I flash the module while being connected to a car? If so, would it be a good idea to install a USB cable which is made accessible after the installation so that we can make changes later without opening it up? Thanks!

I just picked up the Kenwood DMX809S and have the RR, HRFO1, and antenna adapter on its way. What would I have to splice, and how do I find it on my 2016 F250 XL. Also, I have a rear-view camera on my 38-foot toy hauler I use a rear-view camera, constant as in a rear-view mirror. How would I go about connecting it up so it's always viewable while towing?

Hi Darren. I just installed the Maestro RR with a Pioneer compatible head unit into my 2016 F150. Upgrading from the 4" sync screen to a 7". Pretty much everything went well. I may have to go back and reflash the unit. Unless you are aware of something else I may have forgotten, I may have inputted the wrong info regarding the climate controls, because they do not work. I'll be looking at all connections today before reflashing.
My main reason I am commenting is that I am slightly colour blind. Yeah, so making some the wire connections was a bit of a task. I figured them out but I had to have a family member confirm the connections. Can I suggest labeling the wires with a number, as well as the same number shown on the information sheet? I can't be the only one who has struggled with this. Obviously the radio manufacturer would have to do the same thing.

Just an update on the climate controls. So I went and disassembled the climate controls looking to see what I had done wrong. Reviewed the instructions again while taking disconnecting the ribbons. So the instructions say to have the black side up when installing. This is incorrect. When they are installed black side up, they are not making contact. So I reran the ribbons, starting with the first connection as having the black side down. And then the final connection would follow suit. And the climate controls now work.
So the instructions need to be rewritten so others don't think they have done something wrong as well. But the upgrade works great.

Hey. I was looking to get this Maestro for my 2014 nissan titan sl crew cab with Rockford Fosgate system. Can Crutchfield assemble the radio/wheel harnesses prior to shipping so I'm just plug and play and if so, are there any wires I'd need to splice/soldier?

I have a 2010 accord coupe. I have the RR2 setup. I made all the required connections but for some reason my steering wheel controls stop working after about 10 min.

Unrelated question but most aftermarket radios only have 6 rca ports i was wondering if i could use rca splitters to combine speakers into one rca jack in order to be able to plug up my speakers in the proper labeled rca locations on the back of a new radio
