This also helped fix mine. Kenwood stereo in a 2012 Mustang.. out of no where the Climate control screen changed to a different view/controls. Couldn't change fan speed and the temperature slider was gone. Was about to pull the dash apart and try to reflash the maestro.. but thankfully found this video and did it from the stereo. After resetting, the climate control was back to normal and everything worked again. Noticed it DID keep my programmed button settings after the reset.

Man this worked for me!! I drove 100 miles and hour and some reason the meastro rr shut off. Then I researched it and found this!! Worked like a charm! I was gonna be real mad after paying 140 bucks for the 2 modules for a challenger after only 3 months. Im happy again!

Excellent piece of equipment. Although I was not successful in setting up the module from home. I had to take it to a shop and have been unsuccessful in obtaining an update from the same shop since going out of business.. I guess I'll have to rest it and try to install it on my own..

I mounted mine to the top of my stereo in my 07 just so it would be easier to reflash if needed so far I've only had to do it once. Maybe one day I'll get the RR 2 that has bluetooth and I believe is suppose to be easier to update/reflash instead of this USB connection. Works great aside from this occasional reset issue but I've seen new cars that's had to go to the dealer to reset the stereo so either way you look at it it's an inconvenience but at least this can be done at home. I've also learned a quick way to reset mine is pop the hood and pull and reinsert the fuse to the radio only last a day or two when I did it but if your on a road trip it could be a good temporary hack.

Doing this reset fixed my Android Audio connection which had been mysteriously failing for a long time.

I used the master module reset through my Pioneer head unit controls. Now my head unit is black and won’t turn on at all? How do I fix this? I was just trying to get my TPMS to work

If you reset using the radio, is it possible to re-flash with everything plugged in? I have access to the usb connection.

Flashed mine on the desktop, the green light works fine there. Connected it to the harness in the car and the unit will not power up at all.

Brand new too 😖

Fail!! Malarky, bologna, and bad information. My Maestro only works for a few minutes after re-plugging the power cable, then it stops working and the head unit displays an error.
