Wow 🤩. My first car was a 2013 Sentra I remember buying it brand new zero miles freshly redesigned the day before my senior year of high school. But man if it was this design I would’ve been stuntin! Lmao.

Definitely the best looking Sentra yet. This is the best color combination. Only downfall is how long that CVT will last.

My 2015 Sentra went through 2 transmissions, one at 35000, and another at 61000.


It looks beautiful, but I highly doubt they've fixed the CVT production issues.

I should add, those weren't the only issues I had on that car. I had my differential rebuilt, I had an issue from the dealership, with the passenger airbag that was tripping the CE light, and they refused to fix it. The gearbox needed to be lubed up, because it would click and grind as i shifted from Park to Drive, or Reverse, or Neutral even. I went through 2 mass airflow sensors, that they refused to cover under warranty.


The car only had 66, 000 miles when I sold it to a dealership, and 75% of those miles were highway driving, where I drove on cruise control at 70 mph. I ride public transit to work, so I didn't use it for my daily commute. I sold it at a partial loss in Dec. 2020, because that's how burned I ended up by it.


Do research online, and you can find other worse horror stories recent Nissan buyers have had. Its not just the transmission, their vehicles have serious quality control issues. I recall even having a door panel come undone, that I fixed myself back into place with some new clips.


Don't just go for looks and price, do your research, or you'll end up having a car nearly bankrupt you, like mine nearly did, with the amount of money I lost in that money pit.


Don't believe me, check out your local vehicle auction houses. Nissans with CVTs dominate the landscape at all the auction houses near me, no body wants them. My car depreciated faster than I was paying it off, and it had average mileage for its age, and I was on a 5 year loan with 0.99% APR. When I was looking to trade it in, a Chevy dealership offered me $3, 500 for it, and this was in Jan. 2020.

A Lot of keyboard pilots here talking about CVT, but i gotta tell you... This car is gonna sell like hot cakes, just like all the top selling sedans where ALL of them uses CVT transmissions. Keep typing in anger. The real people are driving CVTs and they are happy about it. I have 2 Sentras B16 and B17 and i love the CVTs on them. 75mph @1950 rpm.

Really good looking both inside and outside. 5 stars in crash tests. Well done Nissan. The only unknown is the CVT. Even though this generation of CVT is better Its still question as to how durable it is.
