I prefer a Cockerel Wing as my Bee Brush ! 😉
Lots of Beekeepers also keep Hens and Cockerels.
One give eggs, the other dinner (!) I need to dispatch the spares #... And their wings are great in the Hive.
Bees can't get caught in feathers, (unlike Bristles...) 😳
Each Hive, has its own Wing (bio security, same with Hive Tool. And, they are there, if I forget mid Bee Inspection...) 🤗
Who wants Varroa Mites laying like mad (?) 👀

# Lots of US say Freezer Camp.... (Polite term for Ex Bird !)
I use the Freezer, for my ex Boy Birds !!! And if room, Freeze spare Framed Comb or unwanted Brood (population over drive.) Freezing kills the Larva, and it becomes 'Protein'.
If we get a hard Winter here in Scotland, come Spring, defrost a Frame at room temperature, and give it to the Girls as a Mega Boost feed... 😉
I'm lucky, I don't have to take my Hives to the flowering Heather, the Girls just need to fly out of my Garden, turn Right (East) and fly up the hill to the Moorland... Approx 5 Miles away.
