Thats how i started 20 years ago. Now i have the 3/8" orange mandolin cutter made in Germany.

There's a mandolin on Amazon that has thicker ridges and gives you a cut similar to to Chick-fil-A. However, the plastic used is not the sturdiest feeling material. But it seems to be the only waffle cutter I've seen and used with the best ridge blade.

I have 2 crinkle cutters, I used both of them and mine DID NOT look like this 😭😭 why can't I do it?

There's no files. Holes is essentially important in waffle fries.
