The Basics of Torah

If you don’t feel compelled to keep Torah, that’s fine. It please stop trying to tell me that I should stop keeping Torah; I’m not going to counteract my deeply held convictions because of a YouTube comment.

AND as far as “leading people astray” I would remind EVERYONE that the Torah is not foundational to salvation; on Yeshua saves. Conviction to keep Torah is manifestation of the Holy Spirit (for at least some people) as a result of belief in Yeshua.

Eyes to see; ears to hear. Some have it, some don’t. If you don’t like Torah, there are other videos on this channel, and other channels on this platform. Feel free to peruse them.

Loving these videos among others buddy! I really feel like I am coming into the way and learning a ton from your channel, Shofar Mountain, Unlearn the Lies, New2Torah and a few others. I grew up semi secular Baptist and I dated a girl for a few years about ten years ago who was semi secular Jewish. We would keep Shabbat every Friday evening, observe the feasts, and she would celebrate the Christian holidays with me. I always knew Jesus was the messiah and would absolutely never give that up, but she was not a believer. While observing both the Christian and Jewish holidays, it felt both right and wrong at the same time because I always felt that you couldn't have one with out the other because Jesus worshiped God in the Jewish way and from my knowledge never told his disciples to stop. I still have all the Shabbat songs and ceremonies burned into my memory, though Pasach and the other feasts are a little hazy. I think it's time to start keeping the real Sabbath and the feasts once again.

I accepted Jesus as my savior many years ago. I never learned about the way. As a basically moral and compassionate person I strive to love my neighbors as myself ( really tough one). I just have a hard time showing my love to my creator. Maybe the way to do that is to follow the way. I’m not sure. You mentioned God doesn’t want you to do these things until you have aligned with him. Now I’m a bit confused and am thinking I need to start over. Start where I ask ? I’m really digging all the Bible studies you do in the future but I want to secure my place in his kingdom and if I’ve been doing it wrong I want to correct course. I don’t want the music to stop and not have a seat in the kingdom. I’m not a bad person but I’m probably not someone most would desire to hang with unless you knew me. I’ve been alone for years and I’m the last year of the boomers for perspective. I’m terrified of burning for eternity. Been raised and lived as a southern Baptist when I was not sliding down the hill. I pray I can seal my name in the book of life before my time is up. I pray my acceptance of Jesus Christ in my heart and soul will buy me time to do what the father wants me to do. Thanks Bear( pastor).
