Best Budget CPU for Early 2022!

With GPUs being so expensive, and CPUs being so cheap, how much can one expect to pay for a decent budget CPU? Well, it's not as much as you probably think!

Building a Budget PC can be tough. Not only are GPUs and CPUs so incredibly expensive, but they can be hard to find on a budget... But, there are tips and tricks to finding you your dream Budget GPU, and pairing it with a CPU that will give you the performance you want!

I would get the i5-12400 instandly but the mainboards are pretty expensive. With the Ryzon 5 5600G I pay about 100$ less for the mainboard and I don't really care for ddr5. Am I missing something?

Thinking about picking up a 6600 XT combined with an i5 12600k. My question is though, is it worth pairing an AMD GPU with an AMD CPU these days, or does it not matter? Getting some mixed results (Smart Acces Memory and such) so I'm curious to hear your thoughts!

U forgot the i5 12500 better than the 12400 the 12500 had uhd 770 and 12400 has uhd730 so if you don’t have a graphics card the extra 10-20$ is worth getting the 12500

I don't think that the i7-9700k is worth it, there are cheaper and better cpus out there already, yes they have less cores but if the pc is for gaming, then you only need 4 cores anyway because games don't need more, and you will get better fps with for example an i5-10600k or i5 11600kf, of course do your own research because I'm not a professional, I'm a student :)

i3 12100 120$ here is the lowest i3 id go, but take 3600 or 10400f over it any day
A 5600x went from 320$ to 250$ in my country - what a steal, , , but, ., , , Ryzen 7000 series coming...
Also AMD 7000 GPUs and RTX 40 series coming from Q2 to Q3 this year, so don't buy anything right now, WAIT

Unfortunately the i7 9700k has been selling way more online for a ridiculous price of $400+ recently. Selling more than the newer i7 12700K and almost equal to 13700k as the time Im leaving this comment. Definitely trying to capitalize on people who are desperate and ripping them off, and I currently own this chip waiting on my new chip to come in and upgrade. Please do not pay for this current price. You might as well spend less to get something better in performance and more recent like a 12700f.
