I can confirm everything Chuck is teaching will work but it takes time. Its taken me roughly 8 months to work up to a 4 octave range (G1 - G5) using these exercises and some others with no strain. But you have to experiment where the resonance shifts for each exercise and adjust your pharynx and articulators this takes the strain off the cords, having software such as studio 1 with visual feedback is priceless. High notes use almost no air and it seems you are inhaling the notes. Just work the notes you are comfortable with and your range will increase over time.

Hi Chuck - I have been doing your subscription program. I'm a classical singer planning to sing several of Bach's works for SATB at a SummerFest this summer.
I'm normally a mezzo, but my goal is to sing S1 by July.
I have loved all your exercise modules and am wondering how many times per week you recommend my doing them.

Thanks for all the help - I can really see a difference already.

When keeping the dopey gee sound its a great idea to tilt the laraynx when going higher in pitch.

Thank you for these videos. I am studying with a Seth Riggs instructor and I appreciate the ability to practice them in between sessions. My question is, If I am able, is there anything wrong with doing both male and female scales?

Good day sir, thank you so much for your videos and I have really learnt alot but I have a few questions
First, I have been doing the bubble lips for a while and I have seen some changes in my voice but I am still most times struggling with the high notes, what do you advise should I continue with the bubble lips hoping that my range would keep expanding ?
Second, I am feeling a mild internal pain around my throat area, should I be worried or is it part of the pain that comes with the vocal exercises
???

Head voice is the secret to sing high notes but, I would like to increase my chest voice vocal range a little bit, so I can sing D#4, E4, F4 with chest without straining.

5 tone with half note increment and octave repeat is difficult to sing for me. Instead, Is it ok if I practice them with 5 tones with full note increments?
