Wow, learned a lot. The tearing off the corner of the sanding sponge is pure GENIUS and so simple. God bless you and your great video's.

I have never mudded drywall before but I wanted to try it in a room I just built. I watched this video and tried his technique and guess what I got?  A perfect three way corner.  Of course it probably took me three times longer. :)

Hey, Ben! Thanks for the tips on how to use hard trowels. I’ve been practicing with the hard trowel at work and have finally started to get some great results.

I like how you explained left road and right hand side of the road. I've tried to explain this myself to other people and it's difficult. Great job!

I had to do a small job a week ago. After watching your videos, at times instead of listening to U-Tube oldies, I'll watch your work. Dead serious. I love to watch your work and you take your time and show it well. Thanks.

I spent last summer working for a drywall company boarding, taping and mudding. I was surprised at how strangely satisfying it was .

I appreciate that this video tells us when to let the mud dry. Many videos aren't clear about that.

Hey mate. Love your videos, watch them as relaxation 😊. You obvious have great knowledge and experience, doing drywalls. Coming from masonry I like to use only the trowel on inside corners (I use it for everything really, maybe a wide knife or the 12" now and then). Makes corners faster and I can blend out further in one go. A bit surpsised why its so rare because its perfectly square and you draw of all the left overs on the oposite side with the same stroke as you smooth the side youre on. Keep up the good work👍🏻

I'd like to see a video on when you have a new wall and an existing textured ceiling. I'm struggling to get the corner covered and blended into the existing textured ceiling. A how to would be awesome. Thanks again for sharing your skills.

I really want to learn to do this stuff the right way. I work in a building and get paid by an hour. Problem here is that the guy who is teaching me does stuff really quick because the building owner and manager are pushing for the next tenant to get in always the same story no matter what 😔 that factor make us do a lot of mistakes and not perfect jobs like you do and I would love to do stuff the way you do. Imagine I only mostly used quick set 5 minutes, 20 or 45 and only really weird when I use topping. Amazing Job my friend I am your apprentice 🙏 sensei 😂

Yup I found i like those little angle sponges and have left track marks if not being careful. My next drywall I’m going to pick that corner off. Thanks for the tips

Very good technique. If anyone thinks this takes a little too much time, please note that his "tri-sect" will need very little sanding; that's money in the bank. Nice job!
p.s. I loved the sponge hack too.
