what about ernst violin concert, "the last rose of the summer" and "erlkönig" by ernst as well? Those three pieces are way harder to play than any of those wich are named here! also pretty impossible to play is paganinis "god save the queen" and 4th caprice

Usually the most dead difficult violin pieces aren't very fun to play, not like Paganini's Caprices (if that's what you consider fun).

Caprice No.5 paganini is harder i think from my experience

Guys, it isn't possible to tell what the 3, 5 or 10 hardest pieces for violin are. There are to many hard pieces, think of sibelius, paganini, ernst, sarasate and many others that it is just impossible to pick the 3 hardest pieces out of them

I think the hardest violin concerto is the Tchaikovsky concerto op35. I think its more difficult than the Beethoven concerto
