Classic Otis Series 1 Traction Elevators at The Dayton House Resort, North Tower, Myrtle Beach, SC

These are some pretty nice elevators that are nearly identical to the Elevators in South Tower!!!! Relay Controlled Older Otis Series 1s with nearly identical cabs, floors, and a bit of wear and tear in terms of the cabs and fixtures but are otherwise in GREAT shape!!! The only differences these have versus the South Tower is that these don't have the RARE Black Capacity Plates the South Tower has, the floor landings and outside doors look different being this building hasn't been renovated yet, and also, these Classic Level/Pre Door, and Notice the VERY RARE ORANGE LANTERN on the Left Elevator!!!!!! VERY RARE & EPIC!!!! Also, the Generators are VERY Audible, and notice when I'm on the top floor where you can hear the motors, notice how the right elevators motor sounds like a cow mooing!!!!! I'm not sure if that's a bad thing or not, but it sure sounds INTERESTING and these elevators seemed to run just fine and had a LOT of character!!!! Overall, these are just pretty cool elevators that are a lot of fun!!! The ceiling could use a bit of work, but other than that, these are great, and are by no means in deplorable shape unlike some other elevators in Myrtle Beach!

That all being said, enjoy the video of some more Old Otis Series 1 Elevators with a lot of character, and a VERY RARE ORANGE LANTERN!!!!

Nice, red buttons, I like Otis Series 1, doesn't matter if it's old or new, I like them all! Great video.

I love older Series 1; I'm not much of a fan of newer Series 1 though.
