Some funky orbits near the Kuiper Belt are hinting towards a brand new planet, the elusive ‘Planet X.’ Our friends Mike Brown and Konstantin Batygin of Caltech are working hard to finally spot the potential gas giant through powerful telescopes, and the odds are looking extremely promising! We will keep you posted on any updates here on Space Time.

Let's call the new planet Janus after the Roman god of gateways, keys, time and transitions. Not only was this god incredibly important to the Romans but the planet itself could be seen as a 'gateway' of sorts between the edge of our solar system and the rest of the universe. Imagine future space explorers passing Janus, the last of the planets, the gateway to the stars!

About the planet X, is it possible to get the same elongated orbits of these objects from the near passing of a Star in the early solar system? Also, all those objects seem to be in one "side" of the solar system, are there any other objects discovered yet in the "other side" of the solar system?

I mentioned the doppler effect when i was a kid playing jump 'n run games like SuperMario. It's much easiert to evade something by moving away from it because it appears to move slower.
Also you seem to shoot quicker while moving towards an enemy.
