I have a question. I have the snap on smile upper and lower. Mine are loose fitting and make it impossible to eat. Can I use a denture adhesive with them ?

Hi Dr. Terri! I am a college student working two jobs while taking care
of my little brother. I am going to get straight to the point..I hate my
teeth. I have always hated them. Growing up, I remember going to the
dentist office and getting my teeth checked regularly and then it came
to a halt. My mother lost her job which meant no dental insurance, no
check ups. During my childhood years/teenage years, I had no dental
insurance. I was a kid so of course I indulged on the wrong things like
soda and candy and my teeth began to get really bad. I would get talked
about in school and it really messed up my confidence with the girls. I
never smiled in pictures and was extremely embarrassed to show my teeth
thinking that I might get made fun of. In 2011, I was diagnosed with non
hodgkins lymphoma sclerosis and was granted insurance giving me an
opportunity to return to the dentist after a 12 year drought. I was told
I had over 13 cavities and needed emergency root canals. It is now 2016
and my teeth are still in pretty bad shape. They are still crooked and
gotten worse possibly due to the chemo i was given. Dr. Terri, all I
want is that confidence back. I am now in remission and plan on getting
back in the work field. I feel like a smile can get me hired at a dream
job of mines. I feel just like Casey Miller, a smile makes such a
difference and I want to go into these interviews with the confidence
that im well qualified and i look well qualified as well. I don't have
thousands of dollars for dental treatment. It would be a dream come true
to have beautiful teeth.
