This is lecture 2 of free course on theory of machines. In this lecture 2, I have explained about kinematics of motion, including complete theory and solved numericals on linear motion and angular motion. I have covered theoretical concepts on kinematics of motion including definition of kinematics of motion, plane motion, rectilinear motion, curvilinear motion, linear displacement, linear velocity, formula for linear velocity, linear acceleration, formula for linear acceleration, all equations of linear motion with formulas, angular displacement, angular velocity, formula for angular velocity, angular acceleration, formula for angular acceleration, all equations of angular motion with formulas, relation between linear and angular quantities of motion, derivation of relation between linear and angular velocity of motion, derivation of relation between linear and angular acceleration of motion, tangential component of acceleration and it's formula, radial or normal component of acceleration and it's formula, resultant acceleration and it's formula derivation. At last, I have solved and explained two numerical problems, one solved numerical problem on linear motion and second numerical problem on angular motion, explaining the solutions step by step.
