Amazing MMV Ninja, I became a Frieren fan by your recommendation a couple months back💀. Enjoying the series immensely it's like To your eternity & Violet Evergarden had a child that's literally Frieren. The anime adaptation looking beautiful so far hope it stays consistent.

I really like how you chose Himmel, Heiter and Eisen in their older version
To me, the connection between the blue flowers and the party of heroes, is that as soon as Frieren accepted how time moves and that there's nothing she can do about it but accept it, she got rewarded by actually finding the flowers she was searching for.
And just how Frieren accepted that it's sometimes not worth it to cling to the past (searching for a long lost breed of flowers), she finally accepted that Himmel, Heiter and Eisen got old.
When she thinks of them, she's not reminiscing about their glorious days as the party of heroes, but about the last time she saw them.
She opened up to the concept that time moves differently for her than for humans, and she has always been rewarded for it

Same thing with the steak scene. The chef told the hero party that his recipe will never change, not even in a thousand years.
But a mere 80 years later, it tasted completely different.
However, instead of clinging to the past, Frieren accepted it and got rewarded with an even better tasting steak.
