This two-part series deals with issues surrounding the Christian doctrine of the Godhead. In this first video I explore what the Bible says with respects to the connection between marriage, the body of Christ and the oneness of God. How is God one, and yet spoke of in terms of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit? How can human relationships throw light on this mystery? Find out what the Bible says in this presentation.

"As Christians submit to the solemn rite of baptism, He registers the vow that they make to be true to Him. This vow is their oath of allegiance. They are baptized in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Thus they are united with the THREE great powers of heaven." You who insist that EGW makes Christ the Holy Spirit read that quote out of context as she, and many of the pioneers, declare there are THREE in heaven.

This is the most clearest explanation of the mystery of the Godhead I have ever heard. I can't understand why people get so bent out of shape over it. The example of the marriage unity cements this. How the two become one flesh it's a no brainer.

Paracletos (sp?) Is the word for the comforter in Greek and if you check out every place it is used you will see that John uses that word in reference to Jesus.
Oh and dont forget that Jesus speaks of himself in the THIRD PERSON. ie "When the Son of man shall come will He find faith on the Earth?"...etc.

I am seeing that ECHAD the Hebrew word for one is used in various contexts and can mean different things based on the context.

Oneness can refer to unity.
Endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
Oneness can also be a numerical concept of individual nature.
Hence, it is vital we understand the sense of the use of that word.
Perhaps the original word in Hebrew or Greek could be referenced. It may not be the same word when used in various contexts.
Worth a look.

Father is the name of a person.
SON is the name of a person.
SPIRIT is NOT a person but the mind of God that is in Christ and in Christs children.❤
This may help to explain the concept. If you consider Satans Spirit and the evil spirits with him do they posses people themselves or do they have satan the unholy spirit?! Clearly they breath their mind and character or unholy influence upon those who recieve them. And they get into people through error and lies when people reject the Truth. Like Eve and Adam.
Inversely it is that way with God and His Son Jesus. JESUS BREATHED on His disciples and said RECIEVE YE THE HOLY GHOST.
Whoo knoweth the things of a man save the spirit of man that is in him....
Food for thought.

Thank you for your presentation. However there is need for you to revisit certain points. First, what does Godhead mean? The word Godhead was translated from which greek word and what was the meaning of that greek text? Check all bible passages where the word Godhead is used and see from scripture (line upon line, here a little there a little) that Godhead and Trinity are two different things. Godhead simply means "divine nature" or "divinity". It has nothing to do with plurality or singleness. Next point is to revisit what Jesus taught about who He was and what He said about His Father the true God. Let's remember what Daniel saw in Daniel 7 and John in Revelation chapter 4 and 5. In Heaven there is God, the Ancient of Days. There is also His Son, the Son of Man, the Lamb that was slain. We clearly see two distinct beings not a a 3-in-1 system. God lives, He exist as One being. He sent His Son to redeem us and to reveal the True God in whom we pray "Our Father". Let's not be confused by cunningly devised fables and stray from the simplicity of the gospel.

Considering such explanations of the doctrine of the Trinity, which are often presented as though referring to the biblical Godhead, whereas the Godhead and Trinity are two separate teachings, yet misconstrued and presented just the same way as the Blessed Trinity doctrine of the Catholic creed and new theology adventist fundamental beliefs which are not based on sola scriptura (our pioneers and apostles never taught that), the following sanctuary passages about Christ have been made nul and void in your presentation and I do hope you revisit the sanctuary message in order to understand God, (as well as His Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit), whose way is in the sanctuary ( Psalm 77:13) :
" Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually. For he testifieth, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec. By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament. And they truly were many priests, because they were not suffered to continue by reason of death: But this man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood. Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them. For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens; Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people's: for this he did once, when he offered up himself." (Hebrews 7:3, 17, 22-27)

"Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens;
A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man.
For every high priest is ordained to offer gifts and sacrifices: wherefore it is of necessity that this man have somewhat also to offer.
For if he were on earth, he should not be a priest, seeing that there are priests that offer gifts according to the law:
Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount.
But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises." ~ ( Hebrews 8:1-6)

"But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;
Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.
For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:
How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us: Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others; For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation." ~ (Hebrews 9:11-15, 23-28)

"Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,
And having an high priest over the house of God; Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry. Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul." ~(Hebrews 10:19, 21, 23, 37-39)

"For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp.
Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.
Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.
For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.
By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.
Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,
Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen." ~ (Hebrews 13:11-15, 20-21).

Please correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t Jesus become the “only begotten Son” when He became a human?

Jesus told the woman at the well that God IS Spirit and we that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. Looks like we have a spirit too.

If I said "the life of God" or the knowledge of God" or the Spirit of God...

Am I presenting three different beings? Or just ONE with many attributes?

But my question is :"if God is Spirit, where is the other GOD who isn't the spirit?"

Plus, there are three verses in the Bible where godhead is found and all three are God the Father only as the godhead.

I hope these thoughts can help you understand better.

Jesus and apostle Paul clearly and plainly dealth with this already what we are so keen to reject. Jesus and apostle Paul said, I quote,

"... ye believe in God, believe also in me." (John 14:1)
"And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent." (John 17:3)
"But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him." (1 Corinthians 8:6)

Two divine beings, and not three, or else Jesus and Paul would have said "and the Holy Spirit", but not so.

And John further said, I quote, .

"... He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son." (1 John 2:22)

The trinity doctrine completely destroys the Father and the Son message.
