How to Secure Long Backpack Straps

My son has needed a full-size backpack since Pre-K (last year). The large size was great since every day he would carry his agenda notebook, lunchbox, and a backup change of clothes; every Friday he would also bring home nap time towels to wash. 🎒👍

The downside to a large backpack is that he inherited my small size/frame 🙈🤷, so the backpack was huge on him. I pulled the straps all the way, but then the excess straps were really long. 👎 I came up with this solution (see video, using this year's backpack) on how to secure long backpack straps so they would not get dirty or get stuck in something, while still looking cute! I didn't Google or Pinterest a solution, I just went ahead and did this. It worked out great all year long! 🙌
