I think you guys would give Max an 8 to 10 even if he decided he didn't want to race this weekend can Max and Albon get the same score when ones on the podium and ones out of the race? - Meanwhile, Lewis Hamilton (who qualified pole, won the race despite losing and retaking the lead from Bottas...) gets the same score as Max Verstappen who goes off on the first add insult to injury, how can you score Bottas less than Verstappen and Albon, he virtually matched Hamilton in qualyfying, took the lead at one point and finished ahead of the two red bulls lol

Lewis qualified on pole, won the Grand Prix and collected the fastest lap but he gets an 8 and Ricciardo gets a 9? that makes no sense to me no matter how I flip

Magnussen getting 4 because people crash him out and his Ferrari equipment and his brakes fail. What kind of reasoning is that?

Seems like in your rating qualifying is more important than actual race! Not sure any of these ratings make sense. As a fellow data scientist I think you guys have bias in your system

If Verstappen made it to the second turn it would be a 10/10.

Lewis needs to be 10 seconds faster than anybody else in quali then he needs to be at least 3 laps up the second driver by the end of the race for this lady to even consider giving him an 8.0001 rating.

Max an 8???? what did he help me understand. You've scored drivers lower when there were issues beyond their control.

We all know that Maldonado was the true winner

LH 44 took pole, won the race and got fastest lap on a track that was never race on in F1 history and you give him the same rating as your golden boy that didn’t make it to turn 4, because of his start. Are you being serious or is your organization Dutch owned?

You gave Lewis an 8!!! seriously!!!That is interesting. For winning a race with 3 standing starts, incident packed, despite winning, took Pole Position, Fastest lap, regaining position he lost in a crazy race!!! scoring Lewis the same mark as Max who didn't participate in the race. incredible. Everything played into Gasly hands and you gave him a 10 despite making mistakes in Monza. Gasly wasn't perfect in Monza and neither was Sainz. See where I'm coming from. Lewis won the silverstone race with exploded tyres. You didn't score him maximum points for such a feat!!! Penalising a driver because he's the best and we invariably expect perfection from Lewis is wrong. there needs to be consistency. Please mark all the drivers technically with no sentiments involved. Max is in a Redbull better than 16 other cars. The least he's supposed to come is 3rd. The red bull was fast on that circuit. well again faster than 16 other cars.

This races showed that Bottas needed to drive the tyre out of his car to keep up with Hamilton and still wasn’t able to get within DRs range.

4 for Magnussen? He litterally took 8 places in the first lap? What more do you want from a team like Haas, Magnussen proving himself worthy once again. And again doesn't get to show anything, because he gets driven uinto...

How does Hamilton get the same score as verstappen????

I no longer watch these ratings for their accuracy or being a true reflection of the race weekend, but to listen to the contrived reasoning the presenters come up with, to justify their ridiculous scoring scheme. I fully agree Hamilton could not score 10, he had the mistake at the initial start; however, thereafter he drove a total masterclass of race craft and control; and remember Hamilton set "pole" after trailing Bottas all weekend. As for Bottas, perfect start but then fell apart and became whinning; and yes he should have set the provisional "pole" time (like Hamilton did) on his 1st Q3 run. Verstappen P3 in Qualifying (as expected), DNF in race (no points/no race; so at best can only score 4/10 based on Qualy result), but under Autosports system gets the same score as Hamilton, who was P1 in Qualifying (as expect = 4/10); but then wins the race, gets fastest lap, but did make a mistake at initial start, so (3.5 or 4/10) = 7.5 or 8/10.
May I suggest that in future just as I've done, separate the the ratings between Qualifying and the Race (with half of the marks coming from Qualifying and the other half from the Race), where to get a:
5/10 - the driver/car has exceeded expectations;
4/10 - as expected;
3/10 - should have been slightly better;
2 or 1/10 - really underachieved;
DNQ or DNS or DNF = 0/10.
I think it would make understanding your rating system more understandable and equitable; also you could employ +/- 0.5 points to refine the scores further to allow for: driver attitude, driver determination, other subjective factors.
Thus for example: Albon would be 4+5 = 9; Gasly - 2+0 = 2; LeClerc - 5+4 = 9; Vettel - 2+3 = 5; Bottas - 3+4 = 7; this is based on the Tuscany GP.

LH gets pole, has one bad start, but then has two good starts and gets fastest lap and still gets an 8. Max got an 8 for what exactly. Not his fault car failed but what are you judging him on. Coming P3 in quali, and a good launch at the start. Is she rating his performance or is she just wanting to make sure `max ends up on top by the end of the year. Ill stick to Peter Windsor’s channel.

Bottas' bad luck? He's probably the _luckiest_ driver on the grid, he just fails to capitalise, every, single, time.

Albon, scores a podium, gets an 8. Verstappen, DNFs, gets an 8. Interesting methods

What bad luck for Bottas? He was, once again, comprehensively beaten by Hamilton.

These scores continue to be beyond a joke.

Hamilton: Pole, Win, Fastest Lap. Basically the perfect weekend - 8
Max: 3rd on the grid, crashes out at 2nd corner - 8

Jesus christ what has happened to Autosport?

So Albon loses positions every restart and gets an 8 and Hamilton loses 1 position, gets it back controls the race from then on and gets fastest lap but gets the same mark.... Talk about double standards 😒. Hamilton made 1 mistake to Albons 3 or 4
