If I used my camera on my phone I’d probably go with the pixel..but since I don’t I’d go for the essential...if the updates remain current. It’s not much slower and it looks better. Nice comparison

Good video. I have both and agree with most of what you said. You didn't mention, on Android pie, when in multitasking, the tabs are supposed to be live (for example, you should be able to copy and paste from the multitasking thumbnail) this isn't true with essentials version of pie, but is true on my pixel 2 xl. That said, screen and feel in hand totally goes to the PH1, in my opinion. Even customer service is really good on essential. tpu responsiveness is not so great on ph1, I'm starting to notice.

I could never own a phone again with only a bottom facing speaker, there are so many ways you can hold your phone where it can get blocked. Also according to gsm arena the essential phone is 185g, is that correct? That is as heavy as a galaxy note series phone, that does not sound fun to hold one handed in bed lol.

I am trying to figure out if I should get an iphone 6s, essential, or pixel 2xl. I need something fairly priced, handles multitasking, and good camera (doesn't need the best). I don't care about the looks but the performance. Could you me help decide?

I watched a video titled why I’m dumping the pixel 2 the lady shows her pixel 2 slowing down a lot and said the camera is the worse she’s ever had. I know that could be one faulty unit but is it worth it for me getting the pixel 2 now? I don’t want the phone to slow down

"Colours not too vibrant" WHAT? It has a saturated mode which makes by eyes bleed because it's too damm vibrant lol
Very interesting video btw. I love the Essential's design and materials, it's so unique! The Pixel 2 (non XL) though is VERY ugly, those bezels are just ridiculous!
