I had a tough time choosing between the ucs atat and the star destroyer, but had to opt for the atat cuz I didn't have enough lateral space lol. I regret nothing though, the atat is incredible. It looks like a legitimate model if you stand back far enough.

The Executor is a good set. With the scale, there literally aren’t lego elements small enough to add more details. You also get a bunch of figures too, which was rare for the era.

The UCS ATAT is super impressive as a build, but I'd pick the UCS Falcon over it on most days. They're both amazing sets, but I feel like the amount of detail and love put into the Falcon is pretty much as good as it possibly could be with LEGO, whereas on the ATAT there are some compromises such as the legs being a little too thick (completely understandable though). Also, I think the Falcon is a better value at that pricepoint, it just seems a lot more massive and substantial to me

In my experience the AT-AT is surprisingly sturdy. The only flimsy parts are those stupid bits near the legs.

I would absolutely choose the Executor over the Gunship. I think the whole "its a grey triangle so it doesn't look good" idea is just too dense. The Executor looks really really good and while yes it could use more colored detail its still good as it is. The gunship, just like the majority of oversized ships, is not a good display piece. I'd argue it would even go below the Death Star, as the Death Star has some displayability alongside the playability.

Everything else I agree on. Except for the last price range, you should've included the Star Destroyer.

I deeply depise all of the "character" UCS sets. The Grevious and Yoda statues and the Darth Maul bust are the worst 3 LEGO Star Wars sets to me.

The super star destroyer is a big gray triangle, the sail barge is a big brown turd, the death star is a big gray ball. My point is they are what they are! Its star war ships and vehicles there is going to be alot of gray, brown, and white!
