Are Women More Important for Business Than Family?

Joseph Backholm was in Washington D.C. for the Women's March. He asks marchers what their thoughts were on California passing a law requiring women to be represented on corporate boardrooms. Afterwards, he asks if it's the same for families to need both a mother and a father.

Hmmm... so adults in a corporation NEED the influence of a woman for the good of the company, but children do not need the influence of a woman in their own home? Who is more impressionable anyway, corporate adults or children? Seems like, if a woman's influence is good for people, let's get that influence going while people are young.

Next ask them if they want a law that forces 50:50 gender "equality" in jobs like construction, waste collection, mining etc.etc.etc.

I think the idea that 'people choose their family' is one of the most toxic and deadly lies of our modern society. Devaluing the critical need for both a mother and a father in a child's life (which is also denying science; numerous studies have shown this) is a really depressing sign of our ignorant times. We think we're better educated- but we're usually just better-versed in the propaganda that supports our chosen cultural movement.

So let me get this straight. In society, it matters that women have equal representation in boardrooms and lawmaking, etc. But in the family, it matters not that children have equal representation from both a mother and father being present in the home and their life? Foolishness.

Ugh 😑. Capitalism is not patriarchal 🤦🏻‍♀️. I think it takes both parents for kids to be loved. Kids need both a mom and dad. Yes both can work out of the home 🏡 but when they have children their focus should not be on work. I think this is where prayer and talking to God comes into play. God might want the mom to stay at home, the dad to stay at home or both parents to work, it’s all about Gods Will for the family.

I'm 38 and I've had many jobs where I worked with teenagers. It became so easy to spot out who grew up with a single parent and who grew up with both. The ones with single parents were almost always angry, depressed, doing drugs and promiscuous.

This is what happens why everyone only focuses on what they believe is being "kept from them" rather than on what "has been given them". It's all about the "victim mentality" and "me, me, me". So much of the world no longer sees the strengths God has given them in certain areas, and only wants what the think they don't have.
