Bandai 1/48th scale X-wing: Moving Edition

This is an out of box review of the Bandai X-wing fighter from Star Wars. This is the "moving edition" which means it has lights and sound.

Mine arrived today and the light ans sound aspect did make people say 'toy' but once they heard the sounds and saw the effects the true geeks had their eyes wide and jaws loosened.
Bandai have found the perfect balance, give one of their kits to your 10 year old and they will have a fun build with stickers and something to 'play' with. Give it to a modeler and it will have decals, details and that extra attention that makes it art.

great video John i know about 100+ days here in Redding in the summer it gets in to the 120 some times one yr we hit 128 my shoes got sticky from the heat

Thanks for the review. Smooth dome suits you sir, but be careful of the sun, ALWAYS use sun tan lotion or a hat.

Great Video Man !! I cant wait to get my mits on that kit. Im becoming a big fan of the Bandai line for Star Wars, Having built the 1/72 x-wing and the Tie X-1. John you have to check out HLJ.com under the Hobby Link TV section they just uploaded a Hobby Show and they showed the new Y-Wing kit, A large Tie X-1, Sand Trooper, Snow Speeder, and the Bad Ass Motorized AT-AT !! Man these are the best days to love Star Wars. Im looking Forward to seeing you build this baby are you gonna do Red Five or Red 2 ?
