Inspire Sleep Device 6 Months after Activation

Got my implant on December 28th, 2023, and turned on at the end of January. They started me at level 3, I'm up to 7 this week. I don't feel a thing. My husband said I am not snoring, and I am just now starting to feel more rested. I love it.

I will be having my 2nd sleep study next week..I was with sleep apnea machine but I just couldn’t get comfortable enough with the nose piece. He thinks possibly I need bipap, will know more after the sleep study. Anyway, I mentioned this, he said this can be used as last resort. I Was interested in it but does the controller get in your way (clothing, summer activity, etc) swimming..anyway, not sure about a controller hanging around all the time. I average 3 hours sleep a night, sometimes less, and sleep is usually broken. I sometimes feel like I’m gonna die, I just feel so exhausted! I hope a year later this is working well for you! ✌️

Quick question. Before assigning you sleep meds or surgery for the device did they recommend any health changes like losing weight and exercising?

Considering this but .... the dreamwear mask by Philips and a hose hanger work so good its almost like having nothing.... but everybody has their opinion.... just figured id share what works for me.... i used the nose pillows with that

Just got informed I’ll most likely need this surgery. I have a cpap but we can’t really figure out what’s wrong. I don’t feel like I’m getting enough air out of it and so my doctor is considering cpap therapy a failed treatment. I have a couple months to wait for insurance and approval and all that but fingers crossed for some sleep soon.

My wife has noticed that I actually slept more sound when I was on my CPAP.
I really like the convenience when traveling on our trike motorcycle if not having to carry a CPAP machine and distilled water.
This being said however do you feel that it might be better for me to use the CPAP when at home and then the Inspire when traveling?

In this video Mr Heard talks about measuring stimulation level as 2 Mega-Hertz, My remote expresses stimulation strength level as "amplitude" in volts and tenths of a volt. I'm at 2.0 volts and I am not getting any benefit 2 months since activation of the device. The whole thing is so far very confusing and disappointing.
