Scrouge actually did it for fame, after his Littermates called him no fun and would exclude him. His only response was violence after he ran away, because Ruby, his sister, Claimed that unwanted kits that didn’t get adopted would be thrown in the river. He realized his collar was a resemblance to the twolegs, so he found an old dog’s Tooth and Stabbed it through his collar. It didn’t break, but he claimed he killed a dog for it. Bone and Brick came to his help, then he earned the Name Scrouge, (from Tiny, his original name), and became the leader of Bloodclan. (The rise of Scrouge, Graphic novel by Erin Hunter).
