Let's be crystal clear on these facts. Serena IS the GREATEST female tennis player ever. Now had she been able to WIN the last 5 slam finals she contested (which of course she should have) then she'd be on 28 YES TWENTY EIGHT !!!! Just imagine that a mother in her mid to late thirties still reaching slam finals (2 US OPENS lost to Osaka & Andreescu, 2 WIMBLEDONS lost to Kerber & Halep, 1 AUSTRALIA OPEN Lost to Kerber) with only 1 more match proving a step too far? Still you have the negative hate, vitriolic comments from folk who are unfit to even stand in her shadow. Guess that's life though can't say it is universal. She is well loved by millions and the history books will back her up WHEN she gets that 25TH title

I am glad she didn't win .. I have never really liked Serena arrogance, Venus was actually more graceful player and had more shot selection. Serena was just brute force.
