This is what any leader, good, bad, and in between should do. Put the needs of the people ahead of party politics. It used to be that the Republican party had people like this, now it has only a few and they're being labeled RINOs by their establishment. Sad.

Romney saying he won't vote Trump is like Bane (from The Dark Knight Rises) saying he won't vote for Thanos (The Mad Titan). Yeah the latter is worse, but make no mistake that Romney's economic policies would wreck the economy. When he was CEO of Bain Capital, his MO was to take over smaller companies that were struggling, purposefully get them into massive debt by taking out loans that he never intended to pay back in full, then declaring a certain type of bankruptcy (I forget which chapter/title it is) that allows most or all of the debt to be essentially 'forgiven', and then personally pocketing a lot of the loan money. I read about it in an article a while back--I think it was in 2010 or 2011. Romney is an economic vulture and a psychopath who will say anything to get votes; he has no true moral compass. He fully supported Trump when it was in his political interest to do so; it's only now that the political winds are changing that now all of a sudden Romney is having a change of heart. He is NO Liz Cheney.

To be fair, Romney didn’t say that he would vote for the Democrat. And there are other options like not voting, or voting for a third party, or writing someone in.
