My father was grandson of Scotland's famous piper Malcolm MacPherson. I was born and raised in the Bronx, but my DNA is Scottish and pipes stir my heart

I ran Dougie's Fan Club for years before handing over the reins to Sherry Keith a beautiful American lass who is probably Dougie's greatest fan (after me of course lol)
During all the years from my first encounter with this amazing man way way back in the days of Silly Wizard then Tannahill Weavers he has been a prolific writer of songs many of which I consider to be some of the greatest ever written
Still performing and writing Dougie hasn't stopped his song writing and I'm sure we will hear more great songs from him yet 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿♥️
