Regarding your twine - coil your twine into a ball. Get a plastic container with a lid. Puncture a hole in the lid. Thread the twine through. As you pull the twine out the ball will thread through.
Conclusion- no more messy twine. 🇨🇦👀👍

Emma lift the fleece so it is not touching the potato leaves, and you could cover them up with soil completely

Perhaps you could get a blackboard inside your shed door to write your to do list on, so you don’t forget what you need to do. I find it easy to get side tracked and forget what I’m meant to do.

You can tear the cardboard tube into smaller pieces and put it in the compost pile as a brown.

I hated sprouts as a child but as an adult I love them 😂

Maybe with the potatoes, because the fleece is touching the leaves the frost got it? Maybe worth trying having the fleece raised slightly so it doesn’t touch the leaves?
