10 MOST Disappointing Games of 2021

Each years brings its smattering of releases, from big-name blockbusters to compelling indie titles. Not everything is a winner though and even if there's a modicum of expectations attached, some games just end disappointing. Let's look at 10 of the most disappointing games released in 2021 thus far.

Biomutant Has seen a substantial amount of post launch support, including multiple patches with hundreds of fixes, additions and a new game plus. And they are still improving upon it. I do believe this is going to be one of those games that in 4 to 5 months we go back and play and say to ourselves “how did I miss this?”. LOL. It has a decent community of very positive users. And there is some beauty to be found

I really enjoyed The Medium once I got my Series X. Reminded me more of old school Sierra Games point and click games, a la Phantasmagoria.

Comments here doesn't seem to understand what "disappointing" means. it's not entirely bad, it's just that the games didn't meet their expectations and/or full potential.

For example to me in 2020 is The Last of Us Part 2. It's a great game overall but it's disappointing because the characters (not the story) didn't hit me like the first game, a lot of under used characters and those who didn't really add something meaningful to the game, plus the dragging parts of bland exploration. Also, at the end of the day, it's a matter of perspective.

Biomutant is an awesome game. You gotta play it for more than an hour and once you figure out the crafting system it's a lot of fun and you get to truly craft unique weapons tailored to your actual play style

Wouldn't disappointing mean that we had high expectations? Like did anyone really think Monster Energy Supercross - the official videogame 4 or Monster Jam were gonna be even remotely good?

Biomutant exceeded my expectations, especially after all so so and negative reviews. After VIIIage: Resident Evil it's my favorite game this year.

Terminator was good for low budget title. Good graphics, Gameplay etc... Also didn't notice any bugs or glitches.
