I had 12min of footage that was lost, so all I talk about is the performance. All in all it's a great buy for styling, reliability and resale value. I personally would rather spend a little more for something with better performance and features. I feel it is way too slow for the price. 95% of buyers won't care about that though.

It definitely does feel faster than what it is. I traded my 4th gen TL with some bolt on’s for one and I have zero regrets. The SH AWD always handles well, the handling reminds me a lot of my old TL. Currently just waiting until my extended warranty expires in a few years. Before I start doing some bolt on’s upgrades. With this gen RDX, I feel that there’s a lot of aftermarket performance support. Given that it shares the same engine and auto transmission as the 2.0T Accord. Like you said; buy his car if you’re a loyal Acura fan and I’ll add in. Buy this car if you’re a person that can’t leave any car stock 😂.

Agreed the V6 on the prior gen was very good.

This RDX is quicker than the previous RDX with the V6. I’ve driven both extensively.

These got the same engine as the 2.0t Accord. Pick up a ktuner for and wake it up with flex fuel sensor. You’ll burn up a scatpack from dig. Can also do type r or integra type s turbo upgrade easily.

I traded my 4g tl that I had for 10 year for a RDX it great for the family and long drive the performance was a downgrade coming from the TL but the driving experience of the RDX is different it feel faster than what it is

I think the RDX is pretty potent from 30-80. But I agree i think top end kinda sucks

I just did draggy runs in my 2024 Tiguan R line, “Canadian model” with 184hp and 221tq and the very lazy shifting Toyota 8 speed auto, 0-60 in 8.2s and 1/4 mile in 16.1s at 86mph, (best 0-60 was a 7.9s),

the fact the RDX has almost 100hp more over the Tiguan yet it’s not that much faster it’s a bit disappointing, I expected 0-60 in around 6.5s and 1/4 mile in 14.6s at around 94mph

the Honda passport with around the same power and significantly bigger and heavier does 0-60 in 6s flat and 1/4 mile in 14.5s at 96mph

nothing in the current Acura line up are consider fast for the sticker price Acura asking for. The RDX is the only vehicle that selling and making money for Acura as we speak.

The RDX has praticality of small SUV pair with a reliable proven CTR detune motor, Honestly I would say it a great bang for your buck if you want a practical SUV with great exterior looks.

If you want per, looks into BMW X3 M40i or the X3M comp. The X3M comp depreciate so much that one can be had for mid $40k to $50k with around 50k-60k miles. The M40i are fare better.

X3 M40i is the SUV version of M340i and X3M comp is the SUV version of M3 comp. Too bad you are in Canada where AWD is a must during winter. If not any Lexus with a V8 will do just fine if you ever worry about being out of warranty.

that 0-60 time at 0:20 was wrong by 3 seconds that car did like 0-60 in 4.5 seconds...

The first-generation RDX was a cool, dynamic, youthful crossover, but this one is made for trips to Walmart. Unfortunately, Acura is getting worse, apparently due to lack of funding, because Acura/Honda engineers CAN do interesting things.
