How to: Block websites using the Hosts file | Windows 10 | Full Guide

If you have a list of websites that you have to block or don't want to use a firewall, then you can skip them completely and sort out everything yourself. This is a super simple video showing how to use and demonstrating the power of the Windows Host file.

If this solution is not working,
1. turn off all your antivirus software,
2. delete the original "hosts" file from
3. and paste there your edited in notepad new "hosts" file.
