This is how I felt when I got my puppy Chloe back in May I try to let her sleep in a different room but she kept on crying and whimpering until I finally said “Oh all right but remember just for tonight”. Exactly as Jim Dear said now seven months she still sleeps in the bed.

This scene filled me with tenderness to see Lady, the cute dog I have ever seen.

I saw the live-action remake. It wasn’t so bad at all. In fact, it was phenomenal, like the live-action of Beauty And The Beast and The Lion King and Aladdin were. Plus, the idea of Sam Elliott voicing Trusty the Bloodhound was spectacular. It was so fitting for him in it, additionally with what he said when he saw the original as a kid and admired Trusty and went in for that role in the remake.

People comparing comparing these movies are going at it all wrong - the point isn't whether the new version matches the original shot for shot. The point is, what did the original movie gain in the remake that wasn't there already? And the answer is NOTHING. It doesn't matter how good the actors or the special effects are if there's nothing new in a remake, no real creativity to match what created the first movie. The 2019 version is not a "bad" movie, it's just a lifeless one.
