A joint New York Times / Siena poll showed that while Biden closed the gap between him and Trump, voters still have a more favorable memory of Trump’s term in office. While it’s common for favorable ratings to increase with the passage of time, this is clearly too soon for the normal wave of nostalgia to kick in. In today’s Quickie, we examine the Trump Bump and offer an alternative answer to why this is happening. Turns out, Trump might be one of the great socialist leaders of our time.
