Morrowind had some good looking armor sets, glass, daedric, and ordinators especially
Plus you can mix and match to your hearts content

I just knew I had to convert my unarmored mage with a shortblade to a heavy armoured fighter with a longblade after getting my hands to that Tribunal Expansion gear

In order;

Netch leather - looks mediocre, poor armor rating and is rather common. The definition of 'early game armor'

Chitin - amazing looking and will stick around with you for some time, although I do think that it is too low on the list.

Dark brotherhood - Well, only glass is better than this one when it comes to stats, so you will feel pretty solid. Although I do think that guar waste looks more interesting than design on this thing.

Bonemold - hell yeah. Bonemold is easily the most iconic armor set in the entire game. Low rank mostly likely due to the fact that well... It will get outclassed by everything else pretty easily + medium armor pales when compared to light or heavy.

Dwarven - Rare and uncommon, and that gets paid off by it's stats. I do also love the design, which makes you look like one of the automatons from ruins.

Orcish - Very good looking, and I'd say that pretty easy to find. Place justified.

Ordinator/Indoryl - remember wearing one of those, completely taken over by amazing looks and nice stats, only to find out that ordinators don't really like sharing this armor with others? Yeah...

Glass - Giving you the sick green crystals combined with dark base ? Count me the heck in. It is absolutely phenomenal, and is the best light armor set you will ever touch. Also, hard as hell to find it.

Ebony - The gold+black can never go wrong. Makes you feel badass, and is rewarding for how hard it is to find it. Well, unless you got tribunal installed and pissed off a certain beggar... IMO, glass and ebony should be switched around.

Daedric - the good stuff. Hardest to find out of all armors, since you can get literally only one lose piece each, and that is if you got all dlcs. It also looks absolutely stunning, for what can go wrong when you are making black and red items. I do think that it deserves 1st place more than the next armor, not only because imo it looks better, but also has better armor rating and is much more satisfying to find.

Her Hand - oh boi. Make something white and golden, and you will end up with something spectacular, although it is much more accessible and makes for a pretty damn good armor, I will stay with the fact that daedric deserves this place more than anything.


Also, I do think that mournhold guard armor looks absolutely sweet, and shame that we didn't got that in here.

The daedric armor in Morrowind looks the best out of any scrolls game.

This game is the reason I combed through a million armor mods for early Skyrim just to find something unique but not.. too much. It was nice going back once the dlc came out but the nostalgia was more about experiencing springheel jack for the first time, and reading zoological journals on corpses. XD if you know, you know.

The best is to chill without armor. Get that royal ring. Make another item or two that regents health. Forget about it.

Daedric armor was kind of overrated. Loved the design, the helmets and how difficult a full set was to complete. It was just too heavy on both your inventory and your movement speed.

Ebony armor makes you look like some kind of Medieval Greek executioner, and I love it. Go with that plus boots of blinding speed and a spear to kill that annoying wood elf in Mournhold.
