I told him how to use Icarian Flight, and he jumped to Vivec.
He proceeded to murder a ferryman, steal his clothes, and then complain about walking everywhere.

I remember my first playthrough. After getting killed in the mine outside of Seyda Neen, and getting killed with the scrolls, I took a ride to Balmora, met Hul, and then she ratted me out to a guard when I stole something from the street (I was playing an Argonian, I thought she was my friend ☹)
