Hey man, I watched your video and found it very helpfull when I was learning to play. However, now that I have had time to examen everything a little deeper, I noticed some errors in your statements of some rules. 1/ Though you are right in stating that the first player gets to attack first in the center battlefield and the other player gets to attack first in the flanking battlefields, this does not mean that the first battle starts in the center battlefield, the rules state (pg 17) that you start with the battlefield on the first player’s left. Once that battle is completely over. You move to the next battlefield to the right. This would mean the center battlefield. This also means that in the first battle your opponent gets to attack first as it is a flanking battlefield. Once you get to the second battlefield, the center one, then you get to attack first. And when that battle is over you finally move to the next and last battlefield, which again is a flanking battlefield so your opponent gets to attack first again. Remember that when you are no longer the first player, your opponent will also start the battle with the battlefield to his left, this means that the order changes everytime the first player switches. From your point of view battle then starts with the most right battlefield and as you are no longer the first player, you get to attack first because, as the opponent now, you attack first on the flanking battlefields. I hope this cleared it up a little, it’s a little more complicated but i’m certain this is how you play it. 2/ when you talk about your Character Skill card you stated you can only use it when you are attacking. This is not correct. The rule states (pg 8) that the double sword icon means that the ability following the icon affects only the battlefield the card is in. Furthermore, when you were talking about the Character Skill card in particular, you can see on the card that there is the double sword icon followed by the word ‘Action’. This means if you want to use you Character Skill card’s ability you have to do that during the Action Phase because it requires an action to do it. So if you spend an action to do that, it effects only the battlefield your Avatar is in. I hope this helped a bit. This game is pretty awesome but its’ a lot to get your head around in the beginning but there are not a lot of ‘how to play’ videos about Sorcerer unfortunately. So kudos to you for putting this one out there. :)
