Could you explain in more detail what you mean by the fact the women are closer to God?

I used to share a similar view but my experience (which could be a result of my generation) has shown me that women are typically less likely to accept responsibility for their actions. They also tend be less interested in ideas of fixed moral principles and codes of honor. Things that would seem to distance them from a figure that is often depicted as a patriarchal figure with an objective code of right and wrong.

Of course there are exceptions as I have had many wonderful women in my life and those are not the only "divine" characteristics.
