BJP believes that the economic growth of Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat can be derived from the economic decline of other states and because of this all the projects that should have come to other states are being diverted to Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh. There is no doubt that states like Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu, which are currently thriving economically, will be pushed back in the coming years.

Because we have pm of Gujarat. Seriously, compare allocation of funds to Gujarath with the other states.
BJP is nightmare for South India... Recent railway budget allocation of 49 crores to southern railways and 11000+ crores allocation to northern railways shows how cruel is BJP for South. Believe me, with this partiality we can never achieve united India.

PT should note that Gujarat is always the favourite of most businessmen even under UPA rule. He should brush up his history knowledge, if he has any, and will notice how Tatas shifted their plant from West Bengal to Gujarat. May be TN is not that bad as compared to WB but need to be ahead of other states to attract industries. What about Kitex garments? Was there any pressure from Centre? Why they did choose Telangana rather than TN?

I have said many times, Indian leaders have to be wise and spread economic prosperity for the sake of Indian unity.
Putting all your eggs in one is dangerous.

Every state is getting some shares of the development projects. It is fashionable for opposition govt's to criticise the central govt. That is merely a political charge. No truth in it.

I am sorry to say no project worth mentioning has been allotted to West Bengal for last 10-12years. Such lopsided development gives fillip to between states acrimony.

It's simple stable government attracts businesses and we all know how Maharashtra government was and we don't know after 2.5 years BJP will win or not.

So how much investment has TN got in the defense corridor?Companies choose states based on infrastructure available and not because a government says so. Gujarat power transmission and distribution is world class and top ranked in ease of doing business. TN is ranked like 14th in ease of doing business. FDI into TN is like 10% of what goes into Karnataka. This guy PTR is all talk. He is just playing the victim card. First thing he needs to admit is that TN’s ease of doing business is terrible, because of which it attracts very little FDI. Second : admit that TN’s economic growth is behind all southern states except AP. Third: admit that freebie culture has shattered the ability to develop infrastructure and has led to a debt crisis.

These Noida channel anchors keep harping on development pitch by Modi, i mean PTR is the FM of Tamil Nadu which is the second most industrialized state in India what can he masquerade there using his development pitch...literacy rate is at 90% people are going to come back with follow up questions which Modi doesn't prefer and neither do people of Tamil Nadu prefer his monologues but somehow these paid Noida channels want to project Modi as great developer but these things won't stick in Southern states !

TN is no longer industry friendly. Corruption, Freebies, divisional politics, Minorities appeasement, rowdyism, unemployable engineering degree holders with lack of communication skills, no fresh investment on physical and social infrastructure etc are ruling the roost. Unfortunate that we are forced to witness the downtrend of Tamil Nadu under Dravidian parties rule. PTR is milking from past performance and taking pride of yesteryears work of stalwarts. The present DMK Government is most incompetent Government ever Tamilnadu seen. Modi type of nationalist need to rule Tamilnadu to go higher.
