I am going to break down my Top 10 Lego investing picks for 2022 in order to hopefully help you narrow down your end of year investing list. I am also going to give you 3 low cost investing sets at the end of the video for those of you looking to invest at a lower budget. Only started buying Lego for investment purposes this year - low budget and lack of space stops me getting more - but have a few of the sets you mention already including the Elf House. I was going to build this and put it out each year with our Christmas decorations but might change my mind on this.

I’m gravitating towards the iconic tv theme sets, such as Central Perk but also Seinfeld, Friends apartment & Queer Eye (I know, not a popular choice, but I personally loved the series). Yet to see Muppets sets on discount here in Australia.
All been purchased with min. -20% and since I’m starting small, planning to hold on to them for 2+ years or even longer.

Going with the New Years set and the elf clubhouse set myself. Low shelf life, sweet spot for price and not as hoarded due to lack of a discount.

I have struggled to find 76188 at a discount. Beyond an opened box at Walmart, they have not been discounted and I have only been able to get double points, so around $3 off each unit. Great video, I appreciate the content!

I bought a few central perks which just seemed silly cheap at £40 and now £65-£70

I’ve just bought quite a few home alone houses! To me it seems a no brainer! I’m not sure what you think?
I was annoyed I didn’t buy the technic Land Rovers as they’ve gone up 70% in the last year.

Thank you for your insight, it was so great and detailed! I am thinking to start Lego investment, but since i am very low on budget, will get maybe 1-3 low priced sets (end of the video) . My BIG question is here - assumingly I will buy 3 sets from Walmart, and kind of will become investor, but to whom it will be possible to resell it in order to return investment with profit? Do I need to speak with local folks from community to sell to them, or there is a place, that paying more for old sets?
