The Tennessee Volunteers are heading to Charlotte this week for a matchup with the NC State Wolfpack. As both squads won over opponents from the FCS ranks in week one, they were certainly not the same. Tennessee's offense exploded in week one, defeating Chattanooga, 69-3, while NC State was in a tight contest with Western Carolina, eventually winning 38-21. NC state keeps it close most of the first half with a boat race. Then the vols separate and pull away second half with their depth. Especially on vols front 7.

Tennessee could hang with UGA this year, the best team in the ACC couldn't score a TD on UGA. NC State is not the best team in the ACC by a good margin. UT would definitely be the best team in the ACC, if they were there.
TN wins by 17 minimum.

NC struggles against a FCS quarterback....and anyone thinks they will have better D against on3's top recruit and top qb for the class. Not to mention, Bru, Brazzle, Matthews. Thornton, White, Davis in one of the top offensive production systems... umm no.

The team that played WCU is not a good match up even without Nico.

Maybe NC was just sandbagging WCU lol.

Good luck against all our 6th years in the trenches they are a bit bigger than WCU.

I'm a Vol fan, but I think NC State was sandbagging everyone in their first game. They didn't want to show to much. NC State is a good team and if we don't coke with our A game and ready to play hard for 4 qtrs, we will get embarassed.

Tennessee is way better along both lines. McCall is a baller, but NCSU's defense isn't good enough.
