it seems that I accidnetly unplugged my camera and now my 33 gig file shows it is there but I can't seem to fix it still. maybe there is some other way?

My VLC just doesn't even load the corrupted video at all. It's acting the same way even when I try to convert it the way you showed. I don't see any progress bar, I can see another video file created but it's 0 bytes!

i tried to convert a file from mkv to mp4... now it's corrupted and I guess I can't get it back since it's onlt y 160 bytes.... thanks vlc...

i could play my file with VLC no problems but the thumbnail was VLC and not a part of the video.

The main issue is I am trying to edit it in Win movie maker, but in there is it corrupt!

I converted a file from mkv to mp4 and now it's only 160 bytes and corrupted??? I can't find the original in the trash can or anywhere else, can you help at all?

THIS DEFFO WORKS BUT IF YOU HAVE DELETED YOUR VIDEO AND THEN RECOVERED IT - THATS LESS LIKELY TO WORK.
