I disagree. I don’t think it is the medium’s job to interpret the symbols. I think the medium should relay exactly what they have perceived, and, if not clear enough, they should ask spirit to provide more information. I have had an unfortunate experience with a well known uk medium who attempted to interpret something as symbolism, whereas in fact it was literal evidence of the presence of my mother.
