I wear cotton or silk shirts in the summer. I'm almost embarrassed to say, polyester polos, with a cotton undershirt when I play golf...I just wear them a little large to wick away moisture.

I assume you hang your jackets afterwards to allow that moisture/dampness to evaporate.

The trouble with linen is the wrinkling that makes the look appear untidy (to me anyway) but under a jacket might work I suppose.

I don’t know if it’s just me, but I tend to find linen really itchy. I live in Australia and it’s pretty much an essential clothing item for summer here, but it’s almost unbearable to wear. Could it be the quality of the linen? Or are there different types of linen?

Only problem with linen is wrinkles and lots and lots of them as the day passes but I like wearing linen though it should be less starchy which some brands tend to make .

Hi mate! ✌️I think that you sometimes get unnecessary hate on your tailoring style! Overall I think it looks good, but I do think that a slightly shorter jacket would give you a better proportion and create a more balanced look ✌️

Cotton needs more time to dry out but open weave seersucker is maybe as good as linen and it is better than close weave poplin
