We should be grateful to all those people who directly or indirectly contribute to keeping all these wonders of aviation history in flight. I love airplanes since I used diapers and I heard Mirage III pass over my house to land at the air base near home. But I have never had the chance to see live and up close any of the famous World War II warbirds. If I had the chance, I don't know if I would start crying with emotion, or I would run to hug the fuselage or kiss the cowl, or all at once. So it is also grateful to all these people who create these videos for the delight of aviation lovers and for them to remain forever when none are left in flight. This video in particular is amazing, for the quality of the video and for the sound so brutal and without stupid sounds or background music. Thank you very much for taking the time to share it…

Both are beautiful machines... Built for war... Virtually equal in every respect. It just came down to pilot experience in the end. Great to see these might war birds together. Wow has that b109 got a awesome sound, love it.

Two iconic planes sharing the same skies in peace is a sight to see. I appreciate the Spitfire and Messerschmitt for different reasons but the sound of the Bf 109 is something else!

As an American the P51 was awesome but as far as grace and beauty on the ground and in the air Spitfire rules the day.
