Why we don’t have straight pride

Someone I know asked a few weeks ago when was the last time someone was fired from their job for being trans. I could ask him when was the last time someone was murdered for being cishet. One of these things deserves a show of solidarity a lot more than the other.

There's a video going around of a group of men who shouted and cussed at a little girl who answered the door when she was home alone, because her family has a pride flag up. That's why we have pride.

Nobody, in the history of humanity, has been killed, attacked, abused or anything like that, simply for being Heterosexual. People have been punished for many reasons, including Sex crimes, however, none of those punishments were carried put on the basis of someone simply being straight. And that is why, Heterosexual pride is unnecessary. The opposite is true for LGBT folks

My sister constantly says the f slur, d slur, and t slur (just to name a few) and I decided to come out to her today because I needed her to know that I can't take her constantly saying she wants to roll me in carpet and burn me alive. Not really related to the video, but it was a big step on the road of pride for me as a lesbian that grew up in a very conservative house. Might send this to her if she keeps going. Love ur vids!

Let ME explain.
In America(and I'm sure others, just an American myself haha), a lot of places are doing a very good job of being supportive and sticking up for people. Because of it, there's less discrimination (online is a different story) and less households refusing to accept their children. It's not a harmful question if meant in pure curiosity, just one I'm glad was explained
