The dermasafe razor knife, leatherman squirt ps4, gerber dime, victorinox classic or a simple razor blade are the best options. Most of the knives shown in this video just take up too much room that is needed for other items..

Measuring an altoid tin right now and neither of those SAK's fit inside it per the product dimensions. The SAK Evolution 23 appears to.

I know it's personal preference, but I feel a knife in and an altoid's kit is impractical due to the fact if you have an altoid's kit in your pocket, you should also have a pocket knife.

I wish Spyderco still made the Bug. At least, I think they ended production on it. I had one for a while and lost it somewhere. It was one of my favorite knives as a backup to my carry knife.

If you put any one of those knives into your output needs survival tin you're not going to be able to fit all the other stuff into the tin that you're going to want/need to have. if you're like me and you already carry a pocket knife on you no matter what then you don't need to have a knife in your Altoids survival tin.
