I've covered so much ground with octopus that last few days with your help in the videos and marlin still a few quirks like enabling the sd_support and lots of other things I've never seen in marlin before.
Finally got it running with my core xy converted ender 5 Pro but have been unsuccessful in getting the inductive probe to work as the z end stop and now keep getting thermal runaway after a few layers

Did the firmware.bin actually rename itself in your video? I'm confused because the file size and date of the .CUR are the same as they were prior to the send to actions.

is there now way to upload the firmware over usb? I used a SKR 1.4 Turbo board before and didn't need to use a card reader and had to replace the sd card every time

hi, ive managed to compile firmware and flash it to the board but my status led is flashing red and i cant find any reference to this online, do you or anyone else know why this might be?

The only environment that will compile is and when I flash the firmware the screen I have tested doesn't show anything except for marlin mode (which shows all the time) and it lights up. Not sure if I missed something or just a bad board but followed the steps in this video.

I downloaded VS and installed the platformio.ini plugin but I don't have the trash and check icons in the lower blue tool bar. I also don't have platformio.ini in the explorer like you do below Makefile. I do however have the ant head icon in the far left tool bar. What do I have wrong? Thanks
