People don’t usually run away without their phone and leave $1, 800 untouched in their bank account. The father was probably molesting her and killed her when she threatened to go to the police. The attack on the union hall was probably due to another grievance that he conveniently blamed on them killing his daughter. Hopefully he will eventually disclose where her body is.

There is absolutely nothing so frustrating to me as a prosecutor taking a shaky case to trial.
Close second is police not investigating especially during the first 24 hours, when they know that time is crucial.
Third is a prosecutor who doesn't take what is clearly a slam dunk case to trial and/or makes a sweetheart deal with the perp.
Alissa deserved so much more than this

I wonder why the State would go through with charges against him with no real evidence. If they would have left it open, when and if any evidence did show up, they could charge him at that time. It all seems to have been terribly mismanaged.
