An interesting fact. Stan Laurel died in February 1965. Buster Keaton attended Laurel's funeral. However, 11 months later in January 1966 Keaton himself would die also. These two great legendary comedians died just within a year of each other. How very sad.

I'd cry too and so would my father. My dad was 10 yrs old watching the flicks for a dime. Oliver hardy and Stanley! Buster Keaton too among the great performers. Charlie Chapman! Harold Lloyd!

Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy, despite no longer being among us for over almost 70 years, had the strength to be able to give the public everything they humanly could give together with Charlie Chaplin Buster Keaton Ridolini... they created in the first half of the century last year a unique and unrepeatable comedy acting school on a global level which was little appreciated by the Americans because they have always been a people accustomed to seeing things in a big way so for them having great acting talents in their country was normal administration but not for us Europeans and Italians in particular who have always known how to appreciate things more than others because emotionally we are sentimental and passionate.P.S.
