Product Turntable Tips and Techniques

In this video I'm going to look at a piece of gear that's proven to be much more useful than I originally thought it would be: the humble product turntable. I'll show you the one I use, go over some tips for better results, and share three techniques I've used to get more engaging footage.

@5:00 you say you shoot 60fps so you can slow it down. Then in the next sentence you say you can’t slow your footage down only speed it up? Which is it?

Why did you not opt to use the record turntable right next to you?

I have a large object 36 feet long and about 10 feet high that is in a retail store. I have an Insta 360 ONE RS 1 inch edition. I want to be able to capture this item, which is a swingset with a slide and a little treehouse, and as if it were on a turntable allow a user to spin it around in a circle to see it from all angles all sides and have the backgrounds removed so none of the other items in the store show. Is it possible on any platform?
